Job Summary
The Walmart Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our product listings on Walmart Marketplace. This role requires a deep understanding of Walmart’s platform, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to maximizing sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, and product optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketplace Management: Oversee and manage our Walmart Marketplace account, ensuring all product listings are accurate, optimized, and in compliance with Walmart’s policies and guidelines.
- Product Listing Optimization: Create and enhance product listings with compelling titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to improve visibility and conversion rates on Walmart Marketplace.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock situations. Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory turnover.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies, taking into account market trends, competitor pricing, and Walmart’s pricing guidelines to maximize profitability.
- Advertising and Promotions: Plan and execute Walmart Sponsored Products campaigns and other promotional activities to drive traffic and increase sales on the platform.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actionable strategies.
- Customer Service: Manage customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback on Walmart Marketplace, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving any issues promptly.
- Compliance: Stay updated with Walmart Marketplace policies, guidelines, and best practices. Ensure all product listings and activities are in compliance with these standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on marketplace performance, including sales trends, advertising effectiveness, and inventory status, along with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing a Walmart Marketplace account or similar e-commerce platform.
- Strong understanding of Walmart Marketplace’s algorithms, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Walmart’s Seller Center and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Walmart Sponsored Products or other marketplace advertising tools is a plus.
